Driving home tonight and I saw a C7 corvette but I couldn't get a good view of it because they were doing some spirited driving on some backroads. I ended up following them for 4-5 miles. And they speeding off at maybe 100-120 mph. So my question is how far can you follow a cool car before it gets weird.

From experience, once you get to their house and start to "Dragon" said car, that is when they file a restraining order, so I would say somewhere between a few miles and that point.

Depends on where they are. On a twisty backroad maybe 5 miles but on a highway, who cares so long as you don't tailgate.

Well if its a really rare car, I'm sure they're used to being followed. If its something like that C7, unless you are just keeping up with them on the backroads for fun, following them on normal roads should be kept to a medium distance and a medium amount of time.

Well, i once follow a blue 190SL for 7-8 miles on the highway until that car breaks down. I think that's the limit tough..

Depends...

In the one I live in, there happens to be an old Ferrari Testarossa, a Nissan GT-R, and an Elise, to name a few

Not too far off the planned route, unless I can justify going a different way to see it longer.

As soon as you're going out of your way, it's weird.

I think you found the limit.

I followed a Porsche 911 into it's neighborhood once. I did feel sort of creepy. But it's not illegal or anything, so screw it.

The main thing for me is whether or not I need to be somewhere, or if they start to take me too far out of the way.

When you accidentally pull into their driveway behind them. Lol

I'd follow any 190SL I'd see. It's currently my dream car, yet I've never seen one in Canada.
